Orientation     :           Elective : Mathematical I & II and Numerical Methods, Assignements, Seminars, PPT Presentation, Industrial Visit, Survey, Explanation through Practical Demonstration.

Achievement  :           2012-2015 Batch : Gold Medal (1st Rank), 6th & 19th Ranks.

2013-15 Batch : 12th & 28th Rank

Placement        :           HP, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, TCS, CSC, Hexaware and other leading Companies.

A webinar on “Open source tools for learning Electronics” was organised for the students of Electronics and Communication Science on 19th September 2020 at 9.00am. The resource person for the webinar was Dr. N.Subhashini, Associate Professor, School Of Electronics Engineering (SENSE) Vellore Institute of Technology, Chennai Campus. Demonstrations on how to use open source tools like LTSpice, Logisim etc for understanding electronic circuits were presented.


Department of Electronics and communication science of In association with Ifandfor 
Endeavors technologies, Chennai conducted a certified One day workshop on 30th August 2019, on “Internet of Things (IOT)” using Arduino and Python platform. The Resource Persons are Mr. KalidassSelvaraj (Founder &Design Head) and Mr. R. Karthick (Business Head) IfandFor Endeavors ltd.

Certificate  Course

Department of Electronics and communication science organized Five days Add on 
Certificate course on "PCB layout design and Fabrication"in association with Smart Technologies. This Workshop was conducted at Electronics Lab from 9/12/19 to 15/12/19. The resource person was Mr. S. Prakash M.E, Smart Technologies.Apart from curriculum our final year students undergone an Industrial training at “Green Circuits PCB Design and Developer” Ltd for ten days.

One day Guest lecture on “Recent trends and communication” conducted by Mr.Er.S. Prakash,M.E., Technical head, Smart Technologies on 4th March 2020.

Intercollegiate Competition

Intercollegiate function “ELECTRO FEST 18” was conducted on 31st AUGUST 2018. Mr. G. VIJAYA KUMAR M.Sc, MBA Managing Director, Innospace Automation Limited was the Chief Guest. The events conducted were Spell Bee, Project Display, Add-Zap, Poster presentation and Make out of waste. More than 14 colleges were participated. Around 145 students were participated in various events.

On 4th July 2018, a Seminar on “My Future” was conducted by Mr.Hemanand, Academic Head, HCL. He highlighted the preparations needed and problems faced by students in securing a job that one likes.

A Practical Electrical Wiring Mini Workshop was conducted on 19th July by Mr. Joji. The workshop included teaching on technical facilities in workshops, house wiring, testing methods and electric accessories.

A Workshop on Wind Turbine Energy was conducted on 16th August 2018 by Siemens Gamesa Wind Turbine Controller Company Pvt. Ltd, Chennai. The resource persons were Mr. Shankar Anand (Assistant Manager) and Mr. Shankar (Quality Control Manager). The topics covered were: Basic Concepts of Wind turbine and Detailed Working of Energy-Creating and Saving.
