On 2^nd  March 2020, Women’s day was celebrated at 12.30 to 1.30 pm in Mar Ivanios Hall. Ms. Catherine of  III BCom, shift II was the Master of Ceremony. The program was started with a prayer song and TamilThaivazhthu by the college choir, followed by College anthem. It was followed by lighting of the lamp by the chief guest ( Smt.Pinky Jowel,IAS, Tamilnadu Rural Development Department) followed by the principal (Dr.M.sivarajan), followed by the vice principal of shift II(Mrs.Subashini) followed by the convenor of Women’s Cell (Dr.S.Fabbiyola) followed by a student (Nivedha-III BCom-Shift I). The welcome address was given by Nivedha-III BCom-Shift I . A memento was presented to the Chief guest by the Principal and Mrs.Subashini, vice principal of shift-II honoured the Chief guest with a shawl. It was followed by the introduction of the Chief guest , felicitation and declaration of new name for women’s cell as “CREATIVE FEMINES” by the Principal. It was followed by a inspiring speech and  prize (Certificates and Medals) distribution by the Chief guest. The Convenor of Women Cell, Dr.S.Fabbiyola read out the prizes. The program was concluded by vote of thanks by Indhuja Shalini, III BCom Shift II followed by National anthem.
