The Red Ribbon Club, NSS, NCC of MGC, in association with Adyar Cancer  Institute organized a “ Blood Donation Camp “ on behalf of WORLD AIDS DAY.  This event started with a prayer song and was inaugurated by Sr. Celine Maria, Sr. Nevada, along with  Principal, Dr M.Sivarajan and Vice Principal, Mrs Gayathri at 9:30 AM.  Around 150 students donated blood and around 70 volunteers participated wholeheartedly for the Cancer patients in association with   Adyar Cancer Institute.  This camp was held for both Shift – I and Shift – II.  This Blood Donation Camp was coordinated by 70 Volunteers of RRC, NSS and NCC students.  This proud event was organized by Dr M.Sumathy (Convenor of RRC); Prof.M.Elakkiya (Co-convenor); Dr V.Iyappan (NSS programme officer);  L.T. Moieeson Thairiyam (Associate NCC Officer).  The  Blood Donation Camp got over  around 3:30 p.m.
