MGC CAREER GUIDANCE CELL CONDUCTED A SEMINAR
A seminar on " ROAD MAP TO ENTREPRENEURSHIP" was conducted by the CAREER GUIDANCE CELL for final year students of all the departments of both shift I & II on 21.09.22. Mr.Shaji Eswaran, Entrepreneur, IQ Group and an Alumini of our College from BCA, Shift - I, was the Resource person. He shared his expertise on Entrepreneurship to students. The session was highly interactive and it ended with question and answers. Students were motivated and got benefitted through the session.

ONE DAY WORKSHOP ON
STUDENTS - YOU ARE THE NATION’S PILLAR
Career Guidance Cell, Mar Gregorios College of Arts & Science, Mogappair West, Chennai had conducted a One day Workshop for the Final year students on 5th January 2023 between 10.00 AM and 4.30 PM on the topic “STUDENTS! YOU ARE THE NATION’S PILLAR”. The Resource person for the event was Dr. Sujitha, Psychologist, CEO, Pupil Rhythm Counseling Centre, Chennai. She was welcomed and honoured by Rev. Fr. Mathew Pallikunnel, Secretary, Dr. M.Sivarajan, Principal, Dr. G. Gayathry and Dr. Shalini Maher, Vice Principals, Shift – I & II respectively.
The workshop was in two sessions for both shift – I & II. The Resource Person encouraged the students to improve positivity, personality to understand one’s potential. Anti-suicidal awareness, Awareness on Abuses, respecting elders & moral values were a few to add. Students were involved in many activities which resulted in positive vibrations among the students. The Session was effective and informative. Students acknowledged that the workshop enriched them with positive ideas and self-confidence. 390 students from Shift – I & II were benefited by this workshop. Convenor & Co- Convener of the program were Prof. S.ArokiyaPrincey, Department of Mathematics, Shift - I and Dr. Rajalakshmi Saravanan, Department of Business Administration, Shift – II.
