ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME FOR OUTGOING STUDENTS” was organized by MGC –Entrepreneurship Development Cell in Association with IQAC, EDII and University of Madras.
The event started on12th January 2023 (Thursday). Mr. Kevin Emanuel of III B.Com C.A., Shift - 2was the Master of Ceremony. The program beganwith a prayer song. Mr. E. J. Nithish Raj of III BBA, Shift -1welcomed the dignitaries and gathering on behalf of ED – Cell. Dr. G. GayathryVice Principal, Shift I, gave the felicitationaddress, Mr. J. Joel Daniel of III B.Com., Shift - 1introduced the Guest of Ms. G. Lavanya to the gathering.
FIRST SESSION:
Ms. G. Lavanya the resource person of the shared her expertise on Government programs available for entrepreneurship. The Business Model canvas and its specifications, some brief notes on business. Value creation. Marketing, sales. Value delivery, etc., were the other topics discussed in the first session.
SECOND SESSION:
In the second session Ms. G. Lavanya elaborated financial support available for entrepreneurs, Government schemes, subsidy, Government’s encouragement to startup companies etc.
THIRD SESSION:
Mr. G. Dhanasekar of III B. Com, Shift – II introduced the chief guest, Mr. Keerthi Raman K.R. to the gathering.Discussions were made on MCA –company registration, Statutory registrations and specifications.
FOURTH SESSION:
Mr. Keerthi Raman K. R. mentored on the topics of MSME such as Income Tax, GST, ESI, EPF and the details and significance were discussed.
Finally, the programme came to an end with the felicitation by Secretary Rev. Fr. Mathew Pallikunneland the certificate distribution to the Coordinators and the participants. The event ended with a vote of thanks by Mr. D. Santhosh Kumar of III B.Com, Shift –II.
