On account of  Christmas celebrations Mar Gregorios College NCC Cadets visited Orphanage Home on 20th December 2021 PLANT Shelter Home, Nochikuppam, Chennai. The program was organized to remind everyone to share with the needy  and celebrate the coming of Jesus. 35 NCC Cadets of Mar Gregorios College and 35 orphanage children participated in the event.  The program started with a Carol song by Cadet Darshini  and Lt D.Moieeson Thairiyam ANO of MGC delivered the welcome address and introduced MGC NCC cadets to the Children. Then Dr. Magimai Santhosh Kulothish, the Director of the Shelter Home  welcomed everyone and appreciated the NCC Cadets for taking the wonderful initiative for organizing the programme. Mime was performed by the NCC Cadets   to promote Farming in India which is the Backbone of the country. Then Shelter Home children displayed their performance. After that NCC cadets offered 3500 rupees for the children's dinner and gave provisions for cooking. Then the program ended with the carol song sung by Cadet. Ramya and Cadet. Barathi along with the Santa Claus. After the program The MGC NCC cadets and Shelter Home children had their dinner.
