The Social Excellence of Mar Gregorios College of Arts & Science has organized a wrebinar on “Today's society and the agrarian economy”. Mr. Vignesh S from Makkal Paathai was the speaker of the day. Mr. Vignesh S is the State Co-ordinator in Makkal Pathai. Apart from that Mr. Vignesh S is also a organic farmer and Social Activist. He has been contributed to many services towards the improvement of organic farming. He has been taken the lead role in the “Jallikattu protest” which held in Tamilnadu during January 2017. And he has also participated as a trainer and resource in many events in several colleges and academic institutions to promote the need and importance of farming and organic farming. 

The program was organized by Ms. Subhiksha P, Assistant Professor (Convenor) and Mr. Arunkumar D Assistant Professor (Co-convenor). The Master of ceremony for the entire programme was Ms. Adhmaja Shaje- Student of I MSW. The programme was initiated with a prayer by 04:00pm. The welcome address was delivered by the Convenor- Ms. Subhiksha P. Then the session was handed over with the Respected Guest Speaker. Around 50 participants took part in the programme. Shift-II Vice Principal- Ms Subhashini, Heads, Teachers and Students from various departments has joined the session.
