                      A peer team was constituted by NAAC to visit the institution and validate the Self-Study report. The peer team consists of the Chairperson, Dr. Md. Afshar Alam, Vice Chancellor, Jamia Hamdard Deemed University, Delhi, Dr. Jayanta Kumar Parida, Member Co-ordinator, Professor School of Commerce Economics Kiit, Orissa, and Dr. Rekha Kalia Bhardwaj, Member and Principal, Hans Raj Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Jalandhar, Punjab. They visited the College on 20th (first day). The Peer Team members were welcomed by his Excellency Joshua Mar Ignathios, Secretary Rev. Father Philip Pulipura, Principal Dr. M. ShivaRajan and IQAC coordinators.

The team had meetings with the Principal and the Secretary along with the IQAC Coordinators and the reception Committee. The Peer Team, during its visit, assessed and evaluated curricular aspects, teaching and learning activities, research work, extension, infrastructure and learning facilities, and other aspects of the College. They also visited library, sports room and canteen. They visited and interacted with IQAC, placement cell, career counseling centre and  all departments, teaching staff, non-teaching staff, students, Governing Body, alumnae, and parents and visited all academic facilities and administrative and support services. Further, they interacted with Administrative sections and other non-teaching staff.  The panel members, the teaching and non-teaching staff, students, parents, alumnae, and everyone cooperated for smooth sailing during the first-day visit. The first day of the visit has come to an end with the cultural program presented by the students of MGC College.
