Welcome to Mar Gregorios College of Arts & Science, Chennai.

An institution of higher learning established by the Malankara Syrian Catholic Trust whose principle is to serve God through serving men. The college delivers higher standards of excellence in academics through instruction by a very dedicated teaching fraternity handling various courses of study under the University of Madras that will enhance the employability of the students who enter the portals of MGC. The college grows intellectually as well as increases in infrastructural facilities day by day. It has 27 years of excellence in education. It was accredited by NAAC with a B++ grade.

Our motto is “Let your Light shine." As the mission of the college says, the college is determined to send out intellectually trained, morally upright, socially committed, and spiritually inspired men and women and to raise them as leaders of quality in all spheres of life and to serve their fellow men with love, truth, and justice. Serving for a little over two decades, the college has been in continuous educational service with a great reputation to the society around it.

The college charges relatively low fees. The management of the college considers sympathetically the needs of students coming from economically poorer backgrounds, gives them fee concessions and scholarships, and encourages and motivates them to pursue higher education in their desired discipline. The students of our college have shown excellence in academics, sports, the National Service Scheme, the National Cadet Corps, Cultural, etc.

The college is in the process of applying for NAAC accreditation, and we are certainly hopeful to achieve a higher grade. With every good wish and God’s blessings on those students who choose to have an experience of higher educational standards at the Mar Gregorios College!
