Mar Gregorios Day is celebrated on 10^th of October every year in remembrance of the founder. In commemoration of this three events – Essay writing and Elocution competitions were conducted on the topic of “Life and legacy of Mar Gregorios”.These competitions gave the students a deeper thought on the Theme.Drawing competition is also conducted to draw a pencil sketch of the founder.62 students participated from both the shifts. The ceremony took place on 10^th October in the Mar Gregorios Conference Hall. The program started with a prayer song sung by the Students Choir.  Dr.S.Shalini Maher, Vice principal shift-II, gave the welcome note. Rev. Fr.Philp Pulipura,Former Secretary,gave founder’s day message and blessed the gathering. A power point on the biography of Late Archbishop Most Rev. Benedict Mar Gregorios has been prepared and explained by Prof. A.Jerome Robinson followed by the valedictory. Prize and certificate were distributed to the winners by the dignitaries.The program ended with oath taking by all the participantsto follow the footsteps of the founder. Prof.D.Stephy Joy, Convenor of the program gave the vote of thanks. Everyone gave honor to the pure and humble soul of the founder by their prayers and flowers.
