Department of English, in association with IQAC, arranged a three-day workshop on Calligraphy, Theatre Skill and Editing Skills. The program was organized by Prof. E. Felicit Beneta, Dept of English. It was a three day workshop held between 25^th and 27^th of September 2023. First-day session was held on 25-09-2023, which was handled by a Calligraphy trainer, Mr. Emanuel Irudaya Doss. The students took important terms about all the tools, posture, and techniques to write with dip in a calligraphy style. The second day session was delivered by Drama director and artist Mr. Bagathsingh Kannan, who explained on different elements of working as a theatre director, including their responsibilities, essential skills and typical work environment. Third session was handled by Mr. D. Balasubramaniyam, Senior Journalist Indian express, The Hindu & BBC who explained the methods of editing and proof reading. Mrs. Indumathy, Head Dept of English inaugurated the workshop. Students from I, II, and III year English & Tamil Literature, learnt the basic skills and techniques on Calligraphy, Theatre Skills and Editing Skills.
