Red Ribbon club and NSS in association with MMM Hospital and MGR Medical University jointly conducted blood donation camp on 14^th July 2023. The donation camp was scheduled at 10.00 am in Mar Ivanios Hall. The event commenced with the felicitation by Principal Dr.R.Srikanth. IQAC Co-Ordinator Mrs.S.Shantha, Vice Principal of Shift – I Dr.G.Gayathry and Shift – II Dr.S.Shalani Maher greeted the Principal, NSS team from MGR Medical University and members from MMM Hospital respectively. Also present were NSS program officer Dr.Venkatesan, Asst. Program officer Ms.Saranya and Members, RRC Convenor Dr.Aswini and Co-Convenor Ms.Sujdha.

People live when people give. Blood is the most precious gift that anyone can give to another person. Blood donation being a noble cause and realizing its importance, students of Mar Gregorios College gladly indulged them in blood donation. Such activity stays as reminder for students to be at good health physically and mentally to become healthy blood donors. Therefore remembering the society and personal health you don’t have to be doctor to save life just donate blood.

Around 60 students successfully donated blood. Special appreciation to student volunteers from RRC and NSS for their contribution towards this noble cause.
